Please see our reporting leaflet for parents below:
At Kinellar School, our pupils create an individual pupil profile each year. This experience allows learners to develop a greater understanding of themselves, their learning and achievements.
You can find out more in our Profiling leaflet below:
Our pupils are encouraged to share their profiling journey with their families at least once per term.
During our profile sharing week:
P1-3 will bring home their Snapshot Jotter
P4-7 are encouraged to access their digital profile at home which takes the form of a powerpoint presentation.
We ask that parents and children participate in a discussion around the work in the profiles and that parents leave a comment. We have put together a short guide to support with this:
Our class profiles are available for parents to view and engage with via thier children on Microsoft Teams. Please encourage your child to login to Glow and head to their class team to share this with you.
The purpose of a class profile is:
To provide a 'window' into the classroom for parents to further instigate dialogue at home about learning expreinces.
To provide the opportunity for parents to extend learning at home.
To build a picture of the whole class learning journey throughout the year.
To encourage pupils to reflect on their learning and expreiences.
To celebrate successes and acheivements.
To gain feedback from parents.
Our Class Profiles are also a great tool to help teachers communicate directly with children and their families.
If you and your child are having issues accessing the Class Profile from home, please get in touch with your child's class teacher who will be able to support.
